You can join us at the @CruiseSaudiCrew. <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div> <\/p>\n We just launched our page about what to expect on your very first days on board<\/a> a cruise ship, using personal experiences provided by our communities, with real testimonials included. <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div> <\/p>\n We’ve did a major update to our page about the Seaman’s Book.<\/a> As you might not know, some people wrongfully use it in attempts to not pay overweight luggage on airports. Now, we break down this myth to its core. <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div> <\/p>\n Added new profession pages for Galley Utilities, Third Cooks, Restaurant Stewards.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div> <\/p>\n Added new profession pages for Photographers, Lab Technicians, Entertainment Technicians, Carpenters and a few more.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div> <\/p>\n It’s been a year since our website came back online after being hammered down by hackers. In this past year, we suffered uncountable failed attacks. As of right now, our IT security team has blocked over 167.800 attempts! <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div> Created a subdomain for our news website at new.shiplife.org<\/a>. As of right now, it is just for future development purposes.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div> We made a cleaner logo design and removed some old data from the website, which is loading more smoothly for most of our users. Although, loading time is still high with an average of 12 seconds per page. (Which is much better than we started at about 45 sec.)<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div> <\/p>\n We’ve created the facebook group for the future crew members of Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. You can join us at Ritz-Carlton Crew<\/a>. <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div> We slowly started to translate the website content to Spanish by using two translators. Also added a permanent translator job to the careers page inviting more translators in order to speed up the process. With all content being transferred from the original domain into the new website, we decided to erase all content available on the .com.br website in order to focus all our efforts on the main international page. A redirect is in place as if anyone uses the .com.br to be redirected straight to the portuguese content of this website. With the website back online we suffered dozens of attacks but due to the security measures all attempts were neutralized without bringing the website down at any moment. In less than one week we successfully blocked over 2.000 IP addresses from accessing our portal and after these events we hadn’t had any more DDoS attacks.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div> After almost four months with the website being offline due to attacks, along with some help from our host provider we managed to bring back our portal from the brink of extinction.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div> Our website suffered several DDoS attacks and went offline in an undetermined date. Along with it, we lost almost all our data and all backups got corrupted. We basically learned the importance of double backup and also invest on more security.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div> Our official Instagram was created. You now can follow us at @shiplife_org<\/a><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div> We created a second group on facebook to be our official group, as the previous one was deleted by a\u00a0 bad intentioned admin. You can join at @shiplife.org<\/a><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div> We created a group on facebook for the future crew members of Virgin Voyages to share insights about the recruitment process. You can join at @VirginVoyagesCrew<\/a><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div> We created a group for Brazilian crew members on board Carnival Cruise Line. If you’re from Brazil or understand portuguese, you can join at @CarnivalCrewBrasil<\/a><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div> Our company LinkedIn page was created. You now can follow us at @shiplife<\/a><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div> We created our facebook official group. On the same week, we merged groups with another one in order to rapidly increase our members and also added some admins for the community.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div> Our facebook page was created. Like our page at @shiplife.org<\/a><\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div> The domain shiplife.com.br was registered.
