The Entertainment Technical Manager, also know as ETM is in charge of supervision of all entertainment technicians and stagehands/stage crew, overseeing their day to day operations in anything related to entertainment but also helping in whenever possible. The ETM is usually someone with years of experience as a technician in the same company, that stepped up to be a manager, so cooperation between fields is a must. The ETM is also required to be present on every show at the main lounge in order to be ready in case anything goes out of place or needs to be fixed on the spot, acting as a stage manager, but not quite.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Solid experience in all technical fields like automation, mechatronics, lighting equipment, sound boards and AV hardware and software, connection points and broadcasting systems. All Entertainment Technical Managers are expected to have a good relationship between with their technicians so good interpersonal skills is a must.

 

Must be able to safely climb an A-frame ladder and properly operate a AWP in different heights up to 4 meters (13 feet). Good overall health and physical condition, as on the job you will be required to life or move equipments up to 30kg (65 pounds).

RECOMMENDED CERTIFICATIONS

*Preferably with a Degree of: Electrics, Electronics, Sound Engineering, Lighting Degree, A/V Technology and/or other technical fields.

 

*Preferably with the following Certifications: AV Technology Installation, Networking, Harman Core University, OSHA 30, CTS, CTS-I.
