The Maitre D’ is responsible for all service in all food related areas. He/she identifies and implements improvements to increase the effectiveness and consistency of the Dining Services operations according to the key principles that drive the guest experience culture, and is responsible for cost controlling, purchase orders, inventories, compliance with all HACCP requirements, besides being an active presence at all official events and provide support for other departments on board.
Preferred College or University degree in hospitality management, business administration or related field preferred with a minimum 3 years leadership experience in the hospitality Industry and preferred 3 years of shipboard experience within the Dining Services environment on any cruise line.
Must possess strong leadership, organizational and training skills, able to write and produce operational documentation and possess an extensive knowledge of USPH and Sanitation protocols.
College or University degree in hospitality management, business administration or related field preferred.
Fluent in a second language is preferred.
