By following policies and procedures set by the SPA concessionaire and/or cruise line and under the supervision of the Onboard Revenue Director, the SPA Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the SPA, offering high standard of services and managing SPA employees to achieve retail and treatment sales targets as set by the company and ensuring the delivery of excellent service.

 

The SPA Manager is also responsible for team motivation, coaching and monitoring the overall performance of employees while managing day-to-day operations such as the administration, back office operations, inventory, and basic, accounting, merchandise loading. Also coordinates with other onboard departments to organize revenue-generating SPA events.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Previous cruise ship experience working as any other SPA position for at least three years is the general requirement. Excellent guest service and leadership skills to interact appropriately with guests in a considerate, professional and positive manner are a must and a bachelor degree or similar education on Marketing, Sales, Retail and Hospitality or any related field is also recommended, but not mandatory.

 

As mandatory by many SPA concessionaires, must not have any visible tattoos.

RECOMMENDED CERTIFICATIONS

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) expertise is a MUST.

 

Must be proficient speaking, reading, and writing skills in English, and with a fluent level in at least one of the following languages: German, French, Spanish, Russian or Chinese.
