Aroya Cruises

Aroya Cruises was officially launched in June 2023 as a separate business unit of Cruise Saudi, a company fully owned by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund. Operating with an independent management team based in Jeddah, Aroya Cruises aims to provide exceptional year-round experiences tailored to Saudi and GCC nationals and residents, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 to become a top global tourism destination.

Distinguishing itself as the world’s first Arabian cruise line, Aroya Cruises offers unique and authentic experiences that reflect Arabian generosity and Saudi hospitality. Its inaugural ship, the Aroya, was bought from the bankrupted Genting Hong Kong company, accommodates up to 3,362 passengers and features 15 restaurants offering a variety of Saudi and international cuisine, 20 entertainment venues including a 1,018-seat theater, and family-friendly areas such as a water park and teen club.

Current itineraries are departing from Jeddah that include stops in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Jordan. Future plans involve expanding routes into the Arabian Gulf and the Mediterranean Sea, offering diverse regional destinations.
