PROFESSIONS

In this section you will be able to learn more about each of them, what are their roles, what are the requirements to apply and what is expected of them, together with their basic wage and average amount of hours worked per week. Put this all together and you might be able to choose a career path.

There are more than 150 different positions on board, spread across eighteen distinct departments that are and can be very unlike from each other, but all working towards the same goal: Provide for the well being of the ship, the passengers and the crew.

A little reminder to never accept a job position that you don’t feel comfortable doing or do not have the requirements necessary just because your agency set you up on that role. When you don’t know what you’re doing the chances of getting fired, asking to leave or causing troubles to others is significantly increased.
