With focus on standards, professionalism and revenue, massage therapists are also expected to exceed these expectations by learning and developing deep tissue massage techniques, incorporating your own personal massage movements with other advanced techniques to not only ensures that your guest receives the ultimate personalized massage, but most importantly, with correct posture and use of the body.

 

Massage Therapists also need to train in muscle detoxifying seaweed wraps, deep tissue massages, aroma stones therapy and swedish massage.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

A Diploma in Swedish Massage (150h) including the anatomy and physiology of the body is absolutely necessary. As part of the SPA team, any applicant for this position should be able to market and sell products in quota as instructed by the SPA Manager.

 

As mandatory by many SPA concessionaires, must not have any visible tattoos.

RECOMMENDED CERTIFICATIONS

Any additional courses like aromatherapy, reflexology, Indian head massage, Reiki, remedial massage is beneficial and recommended.

 

Must be proficient speaking, reading, and writing skills in English, and with a intermediate to fluent level in at least one of the following languages: German, French, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese or Chinese.
